It’s not uncommon for restaurants around Dubai to completely revamp their venues – most of the time for the better. And when it comes to Souk Madinat Jumeirah’s The Meat Co. we’re delighted that the restaurant has kept the old charm yet now brings even more to the table (literally).
The longstanding steakhouse relaunched with a new look late last year, boasting a new floating deck out on the waterways at its prime position in Souk Madinat Jumeirah. The shiny new interiors are impressive too, but in cooler weather make a beeline for the swish outdoor area.
Scouring through the varied menu is a treat alone, serving up everything from a selection of entrées and salads, gourmet burgers and seafood to a menu just for chicken. We peruse the list while nibbling on the utterly delicious free bread, too.

That’s not taking away from its delightfully creative seafood appetisers though, nor the signature burgers (which are well worth sampling). While vegetarian options are available, this is a place for meat-eaters, and they won’t be disappointed.
With chilled, romantic vibes and prices that aren’t necessarily going to empty your wallet on a special night out, this is a revamp worth checking out.
